I promised myself I would start blogging more personal posts this year! It is fun to share moments of our lives outside of weddings from time to time. Plus, as a photographer, personal work almost always gets lost amidst client work, due dates, etc. Maybe it’s silly, but telling myself I’m going to do a personal blogging series has really forced me to follow through with editing and printing photos of us and our lives. Why not share a few on here from time to time?

I figured there was no better way to start than with some images taken few weeks ago during the most beautiful February weekend! The high was 70, and it felt like Spring! Sadly, it’s still winter…but this was just one of those days that makes you eager for picnics, long drives, and spring blooms!

Dominic and I took full advantage of this burst of lovely weather in St. Louis and took our dog, Crouton, to the park. He absolutely adores Forest Park, so much so that the words ‘Forest Park’ are forbidden in our house unless we’re ready to take Crouton there. He gets way TOO excited!

This was such a lovely day, and I’m glad we got to enjoy it together. We sure do love park hangs with our silly little nugget!
