Curtis & Mary | Hardin, IL Wedding Photography

May 24, 2012

Curtis & Mary had a lovely intimate wedding on their property in the country. The day was filled with lots of cute details, a perfect setting out in the country and lots of love. It was so nice to see a couple performing their ceremony in a place that truly meant something to them – their home. Surrounded by friends, family, a baby orchard of trees the couple had planted Mary & Curtis exchanged their vows. It was lovely! Oh, and did I mention how LUCKY we were with the weather that day? There was a 60 percent (or maybe more) chance of storms that day. Although it wasn’t sunny, and clouds stood by overhead throughout the day, the rain didn’t touch us until RIGHT when the event ended. Talk about amazing!!

Underneath one of the many baby trees they have planted on their property. Can I propose an awesome photo opportunity?? Wouldn’t it be sweet two to take a photograph underneath this tree each year, showing it’s growth as Mary & Curt grow in their lives together. Cute idea, don’t you think?

They decorated their barn for the reception. Complete with thousands of hand made cranes!

Congrats Curtis & Mary!!

My photography is inspired by light, love, and the unique energy of each couple I work with. I focus on natural and candid moments, especially the in between ones, that feel honest, emotional, and full of life. These are the images I believe you will return to again and again.
