I’m so excited to share Alexs & Matt’s gorgeous wedding day! Their wedding was featured in St Louis Bride + these two are now expecting a little boy! So many exciting things!

After we came home from Alexis & Matt’s St Louis wedding at Wild Carrot I told Dominic, THIS is why we do what we do. Everything about their day really reminded my about our WHY. Why I love photographing and filming weddings!! It’s because we get to witness our couples start their lives together and celebrate one of the most happy and magical days of their life. It’s such a cool thing and an honor to be a part of such special days!! We really get to see the beauty of life and the love that comes from relationships that are so strong and meant to be. It’s just really cool when you think about it!!

They’re the perfect pair and they’re all about their city! It was fun to see all the cool ways they incorporated their love of STL into their day. I mean….it doesn’t get more classic St. Louis than a ceremony at the Grand Basin! It was totally THE perfect spot for these two!

Also, I knew immediately after Matt saw Alexis for the first time that day the rest of the day was going to be a good one!! These two were just so happy in each other’s presence from the moment of their first look all the way to dancing the night away at Wild Carrot! This was just one of those days where you could see and feel the emotion from every angle. Ahhh!! That’s my favorite kind of day!
