We traveled to Mexico, Missouri for Kristen & James beautiful day! It poured and poured that morning…and we were anxiously hoping the rain would pass. Lucky us, it did!! The Military Academy has a beautiful campus, and we were all happy we got to explore the grounds without any showers once we arrived at the venue. It has been a crazy year for rain here in the midwest!
Their reception was to die for! The space was decorated to perfection with gorgeous spring florals complimented by pops of gold making for such a fun color pallette. Plus, they had the cutest champagne bar. LOVE LOVE LOVE! All the details…WOW, just beautiful! Megan from Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Events did an amazing job!!
Also, I have to say one of my favorite moments to capture at weddings is the cake cutting. I know there’s the chance of smudging makeup, icing getting in your hair, etc. but I just LOVE when couples go for it with a cake smash. It’s so fun, playful, and unexpected…I seriously adore it!! You really know a couple loves to goof off together when they smash some cake in each other’s faces…am I right?! Kristen & James…they went for it! Kudos you guys!! 🙂
