What a beautiful St Louis wedding at Lumen! Casey & Jacob are the epitomai of the modern couple (see their engagement session here!). They really made their wedding day unique to them! They opted to spend the morning with their best friends, kids, and closest family members but nix the traditional bridal party. They wanted to make sure they could spend time TOGETHER on their wedding day and not be stressed out by all the commotion that sometimes comes on a party bus filled with people. It was the best decision for them! We were able to capture so much TRUE emotion and happiness from these two because that’s what they were all day – HAPPY!
They also nixed the formal dinner and opted for a really fun cocktail party at Lumen! Again, this was the perfect decision for them! It was no surprise to me that their dance party started early and ended late!! All in all these two just wanted to celebrate as much as possible with everyone they loved most. Their day is a prime example that you can make your wedding whatever you want it to be. It’s your day, so do you what YOU want! That’s what these guys did, and it was incredible!
